Eileen Fisher expands into Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn.– Eileen Fisher, an upscale women’s apparel retailer, has opened a second store in Fairfield County. The store, at 252 Greenwich Ave., boasts a minimalist style with 3,550 square feet of re-purposed space and local furnishings.

For more than 30 years, Eileen Fisher has designed simple, elegant clothing and has built a socially and environmentally conscious business model. Most product offerings have some sort of eco-conscious component such as sustainable dye, organic cotton or a partnership with a foreign cooperative providing fair work to women and girls in low-income areas.

Locally, Eileen Fisher stores often partner with organizations that empower women and girls, and in September 2015, the Greenwich store will host an all-store sale with 10 percent of the proceeds going to local charities.
