Spinnaker begins redevelopment of Securities Building in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The 8-story, 88,000-square-foot Securities Building in downtown Bridgeport is set to be redeveloped into 60 apartments and several thousand square feet of retail space.

Spinnaker Real Estate is redeveloping the long vacant building. The building was originally constructed in 1904 and last remodeled in 1950.

The renovation will create construction jobs, there will be jobs for those who choose to live at the new complex and jobs will be created by the new retail stores.
